Mud & Macrame

Whilst not being mum to two very active and creative children, Kirstie is at her happiest up to her elbows in mud or getting tied up in knots! 

For an artist, living in Scotland is a true gift. Seeing inspiration everywhere - in the mystical depths of the Lochs, in the wild and rugged mountains and in the myths and legends of the ancient celtic folklore, such as that found in the legendary sea Kelpies and the national animal - the noble Unicorn and its sacred bond with Scotland - all of which her unique ceramics manifest from.

She hand builds and glazes each piece of pottery individually in her workshop at home or spends those cosy nights by the fire weaving intricate and elegant macrame wall-hangings. She has created an eclectic and charming range that is both formal, as well as fun, to offer you a one-off keepsake for your home or rare gift for someone special.
