Woollyhatz by Ceci Alderton

Ceci lives and works in Strachur, Argyll and designs and makes both machine knitted and hand crocheted hats and accessories.

She has been making machine knitted bobble hats in pure Supersoft wool since 1986 and these come in a variety of designs incorporating traditional fairisle patterns, Celtic knotwork, and the landscapes of Scotland. Recently, Ceci's 'Nessie' and 'Helen' hats were worn by Susan Calman on her series 'Grand Day Out.'

Ceci learned to crochet at the age of ten (that's an awful long time ago - clock the grey hair!) and also makes unique funky hats using a fabulous soft variegated yarn.
